The '''Sim News''' are a method of communication between the Developers and the [[SWC]] Staff and the common Combine community. It includes information from the developers and admins about changes that have been made to the game, announcements of contests, and a 'wall of shame' for those banned from the game for breaking the rules. There are three different categories of Sim News:

==Technical News==
This is news about changes to the game that may or may not have an effect on you as a player. Things that will be posted will include: bug-fix reports; sync updates; description/rules changes; Artwork additions and fixes; warnings about bugs currently in effect that pose a significant issue.

==Player Administration==
This is news that involves the players, either requesting certain information from them, informing the player base about upcoming events and other such things.

==Community News==
This is news that informs the players about players that have been banned for exploitation or rules breaking, sanctions against players or factions for various reasons and informing players about a potential exploit that they should refrain from using while it gets fixed.
