These are posts made by the players themselves. Only factions can post to the GNS, and then only from within a Capital ship or inside a powered facility. Must not be in [[Hyperspace]] if you wish to post a GNS post. Also, you must have the proper privileges from a faction in order to post in their behalf. Posts go through the process of review from the [[Galactic Government]], who can accept a post or decline it. Those who do not wish their post to be reviewed by the [[Glossary#G|GG]], and also want to hide their location, can try to hack the GNS. Successfully hacking the GNS depends on one Theft/Deceit skill. If the skill check is positive, then the post will be hacked into the system and displayed without the permission of the [[Glossary#G|GG]].

GNS Posts

These are posts made by the players themselves. Only factions can post to the GNS, and then only from within a Capital ship or inside a powered facility.

Flashnews

These are short events that are automatically generated by the server when certain things take place. These include:

  • Planet Control changes
  • Faction leadership changes
  • New faction made
  • Faction dissolving
