XP is your Experience Points. These are a measure of how much experience you have accumulated as your character, and generally how powerful you are. The more XP you have, the higher your level, and the more skill points you have available.

Getting XP

There are a variety of different ways of getting XP, generally getting some for every action you do within SWC. Some of the ways to get XP are listed below:

Building

Building facilities will give you a varying number of XP dependant on the size of the facility that you are building, in accordance with the following equation:

XP = 2 + rounddown(Raw Material Price / 10000)

Raw Material Price is the value given on the rules page for the specific facility.

Crafting

Crafting nets you 10XP when you sucessfully complete crafting an item.

First Time XP

Force Training

Training in The Force will give you 15XP for each successful training session.

Making Doors

Installing doors gives you a varying amount of XP, depending on the level of the door you are installing:

Level XP
1 20XP
2 40XP
3 80XP

Mining

Mining nets you a set 10XP each time a mine finishes mining. This happens after the 7 day mining period ends. If the mine is set to 'repeat' then it will continue to mine, giving you 10XP every week until it stops.

Production

Recycling

Travel

White Scenarios

Participating in White Scenarios will gain you varying XP amounts based on the quality and quantity of writing you perform, and the moderators discression.

'Using' XP

As XP accumulates, it will head towards the various thresholds that are required for each level. On the sidebar, you will see your current XP amount, and how many more you need to reach the next level, along with a coloured bar that gives a visual interpretation of how much more you have to go.

Once you reach sufficient XP to meet these threshold amounts you will gain a new level. As part of this your HP will increase, and you will gain one more skill point that you can use to upgrade your Skills.
