This is how the majority of ships in [[SWC]] are produced. It is much like production of other entities, with some slight differences.

==Requirements==
1.) Enter the command room
There are several requirements that need to be met in order to be able to produce ships:


* You will need a Factory, Shipyard or Factory Station to produce in.
2.) Click the 'Produce' button
* You will need sufficient materials onboard the facility/station you will be producing in.
* You will need at least 1 Worker NPC present on board, and assigned to the managing faction.
* Facility/station needs to be either owned by a Ship faction, or managed by a Ship faction where the operator is a member of that faction.
* You will need a [[Datacard]] assigned.


===Where Can I Build?===
3.) Click the 'Materials' button and update materials to be used
There is some restrictions on which ships you can build where:


* Factories and Factory Stations can only build ships 79m or less.
4.) Once updated click the 'Add' button
* Ships can only be built in Shipyards that are longer than the ship itself.
* Shipyards 3,000m or longer can build any ship, regardless of size.


==How to Produce==
5.) Enter how many workers to use and the name of the ship then the 'Add to Queue' button.
Follow the below procedure:


* Goto ::Control::
6.) Click the start button. If there is another ship being produced, you can skip this step.
* Click [Command Room] button.
 
* Click the [Produce] button on the middle horizontal bar.
7.) Ship is being produced (unless you skipped step 6)
* Click the [Materials] button and update materials to be used
* Once updated click the [Add] button
* Enter how many workers to use and the name of the ship then the [Add to Queue] button.
* Click the start button. If there is another ship being produced, you can skip this step.
* Ship is being produced (unless you skipped step 6)
